Dr. Syed M. Ahmed is a cosmetic and implant-focused dentist dedicated to delivering refined, natural-looking results through modern dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

Following graduation, Dr. Ahmed chose to relocate to San Antonio, Texas, where he has since been proudly serving the local community—including veterans, families, and professionals—with a patient-first philosophy and a strong emphasis on aesthetics, precision, and long-term oral health.

Dr. Ahmed is known for his calm approach, attention to detail, and commitment to creating smiles that look beautiful, function properly, and last. He believes the best outcomes come from thoughtful planning, clear communication, and personalized care tailored to each patient's goals.

I recently had a horrible experience at another dentist that I was reluctant to see another, unfortunately I had to because I had a lot of pain in my mouth. With a huge amount of PTSD from the other office, I went in terrified. What I found at the Floss and Gloss office were an incredible kind staff and Dr Ahmed was so gentle, and extremely efficient. I kick myself for not going sooner. If anyone needs a dentist, this is the place to go, I highly recommend Floss and Gloss, it’s the best!!

This dentist is amazing! From making the appointment to scheduling my husband’s treatment plan, the entire process was seamless. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, while the staff was exceptionally patient and helpful. They were never pushy and took the time to thoroughly explain everything. The office is also spotless and has a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone in need of dental care. 10/10

Dr. Syed Ahmed at Floss and Gloss is an excellent dentist! The team is very very welcoming! Had a great warm experience with my appointment. Dr Ahmed and team are very caring, professional and super quick! The whole process was explained to me in detail and Dr. Ahmed took the time to listen and answer all my questions. I had the BEST experience here! I absolutely HATE going to the dentist, and this was the complete opposite of every dental experience I’ve ever had. My visit was quick, easy, and most importantly—PAINLESS! I loved my experience so much that I asked if they could see my 5-year-old daughter too. This was her VERY FIRST trip to the dentist, and she absolutely LOVED it here! They made her feel so comfortable and turned what could have been a scary first experience into such a positive one. After both of our visits, I can confidently say I would recommend this office to absolutely EVERYONE! If you’re someone who dreads going to the dentist—or you’re looking for a great place for your little one’s first visit—THIS IS THE PLACE!
